Peerless Hinged Handcuffs feature an improved internal lock mechanism for increased tamper resistance, smoother ratcheting action and greater durability. The hinged design provides additional restraint by more effectively restricting hand and arm movement. Incorporates spun rivet construction, push pin double lock capability and nickel finish. National Institute of Justice 0307.01 certified.

The color finish helps to prevent equipment loss by allowing for easy property identification and tracking or can be used to enable or reinforce a classification system such as threat level, medical condition, jurisdiction and more. Applied using a process called Electrolytic Polyurethane Plating (EPP) the color plating fully coats the restraints inside and out without interfering with the lock mechanism or jaw swing-through. Resistant to chipping, scratching, and rust, the EPP finish exceeds the National Institute of Justice’s 12 hour salt spray testing standard.
