Important F.A.Q. regarding COVID-19

It is likely that in the past few weeks you’ve received a number of notifications from various vendors and businesses regarding the COVID-19 outbreak. We understand how greatly this has impacted the correctional industry and, like our fellow vendors, we are working diligently to ensure that ICS remains open and operational during this tumultuous time.

First and foremost, our team and our customers are our top priority. For this reason, our offices are taking extra precautions by staying up to date on and following the recommendations of public health experts and other leaders. By taking care of our team, we are better able to take care of our customers.

We have put together a list of common questions we’re receiving from our customers. As we continue to closely monitor conditions, we will keep you updated and provide more information as it comes available. In the meantime, please feel free to contact our office at 1-800-524-5427 for more information. In addition to updating our web store, we will be providing updates via Facebook and Twitter.

How is the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) affecting your business?
ICS is committed to serving all of your correctional supply needs. However, the recent rise of COVID-19 (coronavirus) has created a surge in demand for certain products. This surge, coupled with the slowed and/or halted production on many products manufactured in China, has greatly affected the availability of these items resulting in a limited supply of stock available.

We are working diligently to source alternative suppliers in effort to meet the demand for these items. We will keep you updated as to when these items will be restocked as information becomes available. We have noted any items directly affected on their respective web pages and will provide updates on restock dates and/or price increases as that information becomes available
.
Are you still open?
Short answer--Yes! We are still taking and shipping orders out as fast as we can.
Long answer--At ICS we are taking preventative measures to ensure the health and safety of our employees so that we can continue to operate without disruption. Those still working in our offices, we have limited interaction between departments and face to face interaction to a bare minimum. Communal spaces like break rooms and restrooms are being sanitized thoroughly each day. Additionally, several employees are now working remotely from home with full access to their computers, e-mail, and other team members.

You can continue to contact us in the same ways you always have (same phone #, same extension #, same email) We are ready to help you in any way we can. While no one knows the duration or depth of the impact of coronavirus, ICS is in good shape and expects to fully service your needs today, tomorrow, and in the future.

Will you be affected by these citywide shutdowns?
We realize how important it is to our customers that we continue to provide you with supplies. We have been classed as an essential business with permission from our county to continue normal operations during city/county shutdowns.

We suggest that, should citywide shutdowns affect your supply line, you contact your local government officials to grant an exemption for these incoming supply essentials.

Please note that due to the individual cities, counties and states starting to shut down, effective immediately, the following will be enforced. Should for any reason your shipments be held with a freight company or returned to ICS by a freight company (with or without yours / ICS's permission first), you will be charged any additional fees incurred.

Do you have inventory?
Should we expect any overseas supply chain interruptions?
The majority of our products are in stock and ready to ship! Additionally, we are working closely with our suppliers to monitor any potential disruptions in our supply chain.
